Yesterday, in another sad goodbye,I farewelled my home of the last 3 months. It seems like only yesterday I was struggling to move all of my things in and figure out how to get in and out of my building. I spent the weekend packing my things up, separating what I was bringing to DC and what to leave in Cali, convincing myself that I do need all of my purses in DC and that one more purse wouldnt put me over the 50 pound weight limit, and trying to eat all the left over food in the fridge.
As I took my bags and looked back at my completely empty room there was a hint of sadness and, in true "Kuya" style, i couldnt help but get my camera and take a couple of last pics of my first home away from home which then sparked the "before and after", using the pictures I took when I first set up my room.
