On Monday we had a lot to do since we had to cut our list short the day before due to my injury. We woke up at the crack of our ass, checked out of Hotel Carter and put our bags in their storage room, and then headed out on foot to Central Park. On the way we stopped in at the Hersheys store where Brandon and I bought 4 bags of Hersheys Kisses Mmmmm! We also passed the Dave letterment studio, which I had been nagging the boys about finding since Staurday morning. It made my day.

Now, I knew Central Park was big, but I didn't think it was THAT big. We didn't get to see all of it, but we did make it to the zoo, the ice skating rink like in Serendipity, and we walked around for a little while. After Central Park we walked down 5th Ave looking for the Disney Store so that Osman could pick something up for his unborn neice. I had some fun making a Mr. Potatoe Head and messing around with the Disney toys.

Our next destination was the NY Library, setting for the Day After Tomorrow. On the way down we passed Trump Tower and I couldnt resist taking a pic. I have been addicted to The Apprentice before so the golden building called my name.
Seeing the NY library was cool. The street that the big wave comes down in the movie really is narrow and it wouldve been shit scary if that actually happened in real life.

After the Library we headed for Grand Central Station, the Chrysler Building, and the UN Building.

We also stopped by the empire State Building but we didnt go to the observation deck because the weather was shit and we wouldn't have been able to see anything anyway. Better to save our money for next time.

We finished the trip off with a quick shop on 5th Avenue, and a few more "I can't belive I'm in NY" pics like the NYPD car and Times Square by day.

We then headed back to the hotel to pick up our bags and head to the pick stop at Penn Station for the China Town bus home. Needless to say, due to the events of the bus on the way to NYC we didnt get off the bus at the pit stop on the way home. All in all it was an excellent weekend and I'm hoping to head back there before I fly back to the West Sieeda.
I LOVE NEW YORK!
