The weekend that just passed marked the start of the goodbyes before I leave for my 4-month trip around the world.
Friday was my last day at work, and while I had a butt load of work to get done before I left, I managed to find the time to get smashed by 1pm and not sober up until 1pm the next day. Friday was also my boss's last day with the company before moving on to bigger and better things, so Friday drinks started earlier than usual when we went for one last team lunch at the pub...

After a boozy lunch we came back to work to wrap things up, and then headed across the street to our local watering hole to continue the farewell celebrations. The big boss was there, which meant the bar was on tab. Needless to say, everyone was well happy...

After recovery time on Saturday, I caught up with the girls for dinner. Platinum risotto, Max Brenner for dessert, and a night at the Ping for good measure. I love Max.

After our injections of chocolate we were so high that even Epping Hotel couldn't dampen our spirits. There's never a bad night at the Ping when you're with the right people.

I've still got a lot of catch ups to do before I fly out, and I'm getting a little nervous about the trip now that it's so close. But I know that as soon as I touch down in Paris I'll be ready to take on the world..while dancing to the dirty beats.
